ねじあわせ

学生向け就職支援冊子『ねじあわせ』のブックデザインを担当しました。2017年から携わっている日本機械学会の月刊学会誌より、企画ページを再編集した内容になっています。
ネジは山が合ってハマらないと使えません。これから就職する学生が、自分にハマる企業を見つけられるように、との思いを込めて、ねじあわせというネーミングを採用しました。
「じ」の濁点部分のみ文字とは異なる造形にし、「ねじあわせ」の中に「しあわせ」が隠れていることをほのめかしています。
We have taken part in designing the booklet “Neji-awase (Screw joint)”, an employment support booklet for students. The content is re-edited from the project pages of the official journals of JSME which we have been participating since 2017.
A screw has a protuberance and cannot be used unless it is perfectly fit. We named the booklet “Neji-awase” with the wish of having the students be able to find corporations that would be their perfect fit.
We made the “じ“ character a little different in shape and it shows faintly that happiness is hiding beneath.
