日本機械学会誌2017-2019

明治30年に創立された「日本機械学会」。SKGでは月刊の学会誌とwebのデザインを担当しています。
2017年日本機械学会は創立120周年を迎えました。それを機に学会誌・web共に大規模なリニューアルを行いました。コンセプトは「夢」。日本機械学会が、夢を語り夢に向けて行動する人たちの交流の場となり、そこから新たな活力が生まれていくことを目指します。
学会誌表紙のイラストは、子どもたちの描いた作品です。毎年、日本機械学会が定める「機械の日」に子ども絵画コンクールが催され、その出展作品から採用させていただいています。
ロゴは過去の膨大な資料から文字の骨格を選定し、細部を再設計しています。

Journal of the Japan Societyh of Mechanical Enginieers：
The Japan Society of Mechanical Engineers was established in 1897. In 2017 the Society had come around the 120th anniversary. Taking this opportunity, the journals and website had done a grand renewal. The new concept was “Dream”. Hoping the JSME to become the place of cultural exchange for the people who move forward to their dreams, we aim for a new energy being created here. The illustrations are products children have created. Every year, a drawing contest is held for the children, and the cover of the journals are selected from those. The logo is made out of the massive data from the past, selecting the framework of letters, and redesigning the details.
