機械工学は自然法則の一部である力学の体系的な知識を使って、機械の機能を生み出します。
機械工学の知識の要素になる自然現象に着目し、画家・林 青那氏と表現しました。
墨一色で大胆に描かれた図像の上に半紙を乗せて圧力をかけ写しとる「モノタイプ」という技法を用いています。

Mechanical engineering uses systematic knowledge of mechanics, which is part of the laws of nature, to create machine functions.
We focused on the natural phenomenon that is an element of mechanical engineering knowledge and expressed it with the painter Aona Hayashi.
The artist uses a technique called “monotype,” in which a half sheet of paper is placed on top of a boldly drawn image in black ink, and pressure is applied to copy the image.
